The new fully automated CTP production line from Kodak was installed in Printing company Havlíčkův Brod. Platesetter Magnus 800 with throughput 40 plates per hour, 8-page size (ISO B1), automatic plate loading with Multi-Cassette Unit, online processor Mercury with stacker.
Along with the new hardware the workflow Prinergy has been upgraded to the latest version 5.1. Now Magnus 800 platesetter is able expose 200 lpi (80 l/cm) hybrid screening using Maxtone CX. Unique to Kodak, the CX Technology suite enables users to configure the highlight, midtone, and shadow dots of both AM and FM screens.
The new Prepress Portal InSite was installed with workflow upgrade. InSite is powerful, user-friendly collaboration tool, provides secure Web access to customers, prepress operators, and service reps. Portal is accessible on insite.thb.cz. InSite web portal allows customers progress tracking, collaboration, remote proofing and approvals. InSite Prepress Portal provide fast, easy-to-use Web access to prepress workflow. With no need for special hardware or software. Customers, service reps, and remote users can access their work anywhere, anytime.
