V1 binding is produced in Stitchmaster machine ST 100.
Maximal trimmed format: 305/349 mm.
Minimal trimmed format: 89/120 mm.
Maximal block thickness: 10 mm.
Minimal format with separated trimming: 89/100 mm.
Maximum of sewing heads: 4 normal clamps.
2 eylet clamps and 2 normal clamps.
Maximal thickness of sewing with eylet clamp: 8 mm.
Maximal thickness of sewing with normal clamp: 4 mm.
The thickness of the block influences (shortens) the width of inner pages.

Soft glued binding V2, soft sewn binding V4

V2 binding is produced in Wohlenberg machine Golf 6000.
Maximal trimmed portrait format: 230/360 mm.
Maximal trimmed landscape format: 300/210 mm.
Minimal trimmed format: 65/100 mm.
Block thickness: 2-50 mm.
Format that is not trimmed must not be wider than 240 mm and taller than 220 mm.
Problems can occur when using coated paper for book blocks thinner than 4 mm.
Use of voluminous paper is problematic with book block thicker than 35 mm.

Hard case binding V7 and V8

V7 and V8 binding is produced in SIGLOCH - KOLBUS machine.
