Prepress

Prepress department receive data from custumers for print in PDF. The requirments for quality are written in section PDF file creation.
Processing data is done by PRINERGY Connect Workflow from Kodak company. We use software Preps 6 for electronic sheet mount, which is integrated like part of workflow. Mudul Layered PDF Versioning allow us to process language mutations of publications.
A plate exposure is done by typesetter Kodak Magnus 800 with parameters 40 plates/hour, B1 and B2 plate format, in-built punching unit, multicassete loader, on-line developing automat and draw-down apparature. For the exposure we use 133 and 175 lpi lineature. For high quality printing we use 200 lpi lineature with hybrid grid Maxtone CX.
For digi Pro barevný digitální nátisk používáme tiskárnu EPSON Stylus PRO 4880 a software EFI Colorproof XF.
Kontrolu zripovaných dat zákazníkem je možno provádět buďto klasicky pomocí papírových plotrů složených do makety pomocí modulu Digital Blueline Proofing, nebo elektronicky vzdáleně prostřednictvím portálu InSite.

We offer complete pre-press services including scanning, typesetting, page composition, sheet and electronic imposition, film or plate imaging. Moreover we check supplied PDFs needed for further press production.

Scanning - we use Hi-end scanner Heidelberg Nexscan 4100 with 10 800 dpi resolution, color depth 48 bites and with maximal density 4,0 D. Template can be transparent and image base, pictures and drawings or any printed materials up to A3 size. Final arrangement is done in LinoColor and AdobePhotoshop software, including color management using ICC profiles.

Typesetting and Page Composition – we use software Adobe Design or Quark Express on the platform PC and Apple. We also provide typesetting of supplied handwritten materials.

PDF control – to check supplied PS/PDF files we use PitStop Server and PitStop Professional as a plug-in modul of Adobe Acrobat. Basic things influencing quality of printed materials are checked as for example correct version of PDF, color, parameters, width of slim lines and so on.

Press proof- in case of film use – 3M Matchprint proof. With PDF we can provide digital print proofs done by RIP Creo Integris (based on RIP Best), use ink printer EPSON Stylus Pro 4000 with mawimal format width 430 mm. We also use eight color systém with EPSON Ultrachrome inks. 

Sheet Imposition – hand and electronic sheet imaging up to format B1, using Heielberg software Signa Station or Creo Preps. To check the printed material on plotter HP Design Jet 5500 we prepare plotter proofs for our customers and after their agreement we start with electronic imaging.

Imaging – we use CTP imaging unit Creo Lotem 800II (maximum size of printing plate790 x 1030 mm – B1). Maximal image resolution is 2540 dpi with halftone screen 175 lpi. We also provide  film imaging unit Heidelberg Primesetter up to 776 x 752 mm. For RIP we use Heidelberg Deltatower and Creo Brisque v.5.0 (PPD drive).
